We gather in a relaxed setting, work on embroidery, share techniques, and contribute to pieces that may become part of Eclectic Lane garments. It’s creative, social, and hands-on.
Eclectic Lane Makers Collective is a community-based initiative that brings people together through embroidery and making. It’s a space where women from different cultural backgrounds can sit together, share techniques, and create in a relaxed and welcoming environment.
The sessions are simple and hands-on — working with fabric, thread, and pattern, while learning from each other and exploring different styles of embroidery. Some of the pieces created during these sessions will become part of Eclectic Lane garments, giving each piece a story and a sense of collective making.
This is not just about fashion, but about slowing down, connecting, and creating something meaningful together. And at the end of it, we create beautiful garments — where your embroidery becomes part of something truly special.

If this feels like something you’d love to be part of, we’d love to hear from you. Whether you’re experienced or just starting out, you’re welcome to join. Our workshops are currently held in Sydney, but you can express your interest from anywhere in Australia — we’re hoping to expand to other locations over time.
If you know someone — your mum, your grandma, or someone who carries a special technique or a memory from your cultural background — bring them along. These are the kinds of stories and skills we’d love to share, and they’ll have a beautiful time being part of it.
Simply fill out the form below and we’ll be in touch with upcoming session details.
